We just wanted to thank all those who stepped up to support Gr8's family at this very sad time. Thanks to those who not only made a donation, but to those who also came to show their support in our Gr8 Memorial tournament. Thanks to all of you, we are able to send Tonya $500. That is amazing and shows what great people (players, TD's and webs) we have here at Game Colony. You are all the best!
Amen !

Thank you Pearle for organizing this sad but fun event. I know that Gr8 would appreciate, but I also know that he didn't want anyone to make a fuss over him. But he was our friend and we all know that he deserved more. His presence was felt by all, whether in tourneys as a TD or a player. He was always up for a challenge. It's hard to lose such a friend, but knowing that he is at peace now and out of pain, is the least we know. Although he never had a 29 pt hand, it's only fit to say that he was a 29 to us all. May you rest in peace, Gr8. We are with Tonya and Linda more than you can know and see from Heaven. You will be missed by us all. See you Gr8, we are all still looking for that 29 pt hand. God Bless you, our/my friend. It was a pleasure knowing you in person as well as in any game. We were the best sport and possessed great sportmanship. I miss you, my friend, Diane

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
