i know am new
i know have no place to comment...
BUT... (!)
Canasta is a game of two differing styles and people who play.
Olympic running is not restricted to "one" medal after all, but divided to strengths and styles.
2 canasta is suited to higher end points - 4 or 5,000
1 can suited to lesser and more luck.
as there as many 2 can players in the main hall - may there possibly be more 2 canasta games, and set at a higher win barrier?
I do appreciate this takes more time for the TD.

But Remember when you Win It's Pure Skill, And someone lower than you, one of the commons it's "Nice Wilds Win" You must be Royalty so I bow to you old great one. And several times when I win it's "Oh I didn't realize I was playing one Canata"

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
