I would love to run some lordtom, but not sure how it could be done using the brackets that gamecolony use, only way I could see it working was if the draw was made then a report sent in so admin could pay out the winners. also you would have to have the right number of players, 3-6-9-12 ect.

each player plays each other player once. the one with the most wins is the winner

I believe you have a setting in your bracket system called "SWISS PAIRING" and it reports wins and losses automatically (played it here once before).
If memory serves me right, that pairing system allows you to play a ROUND ROBIN like tournament where you play a different player each round but may not be every player because you determine how many rounds will be played in advance (in a Round Robin tourney the number of players signed up determines how many rounds will be played). Format can be 1 point for a Win, 2 points for a skunk, 0 points for a loss. Player with the most points at the end wins the tournament. Playoff could be necessary in case of a tie.

Round-robin tournaments can already be used. All a TD has to do is to set up a Swiss system tournament & declare it/name it as a round-robin. TD will terminate this tournament when everyone played everyone else. Tie-breakers will be resolved by greater winning scores. Whoever's in favor of such a tournament, say 'AYE'

AYE!!
Round Robin is a long tourney depending on how many players sign up - would be more interesting if the entry fee would be at least 5 tix or more.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
