I'm sorry to say that one of our oldest and dearest cribbage friends has passed away, RMCUSNRET, also know to some of us as Frank. Many of us will miss seeing him in the rooms and playing a great game with this kind man. Peace be with you Frank. I'm sure Gramps and Gr8 already have cribbage games going! You will be missed by many.

It's with great sadness I send a message for a dear friend and cribbage player. We played many games and he always brought fun and happiness to the table. I enjoyed his playing of the game and he never cared if he won or lost, a true gentleman. I send my prayers to the family and also prayers for Frank, a fellow cribbage lover. Rest in peace my friend. I was very sad to hear of Frank,s passing. I always enjoyed playing him as he was always a fine opponent. Always there with a kind word no matter the outcome. He played it as it was..a game . ......a true gentleman. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this sad time. 3VP (Dennis)

Was sad when he said major heart surgery required. Bet he was a great captain of his ship as he was a player and a gent.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
