WE HAD 39 ELIGIBLE PLAYERS -- 11 SIGNED UP AND PLAYED THROUGH A LONG TOURNEY. FINALS WINNERS WERE:
1st Place: AndaPlays - won 54.00 Tickets

Hi to all.
Congrats to AndaPlays for winning.
Yes, it was a long tourney. Too long..
To making it shorter, it would be a great ideea to play the Loser Braket at 1 point only. In this braket are far too many maches to be played for the second finalist to reach the finals. I hope the ideea is embraced by who is in charge with tourneys. Thank you.

Thanks for the input Coco... yes.. it was way too long! They had been playing fairly well until this last one, and it showed that 2 pt CR in a D/E was too much. From now on the Tourney of Champs will be set for a 2 pt CR - single elim tourney. Thanks again, we appreciate you playing!

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
