There is a room with nothing in it but a single light bulb. Outside of the room there are 3 switches, you are only allowed to go into the room once, the light is not visable from outside of the room, there are no windows and the door is tightly shut. How do you find out which switch operates the light?

Not sure, but I'd just flip all 3 switches to the on posistion and wouldn't care which one is correct.

switch on each switch one at a time. the one which doesn't turn anything on outside the room must be the one which turns the light on inside the room... right? I do this process of elimination all the time with light switches. lol

wrong the other switches operate nothing visable..

switch on #1 and #2 leave for a while, then switch off #1, go into the room, if the light is on then it is #2 switch if the light is off and the lighbuld is cold it is #3 switch if the bulb is hot but off then it must be #1

I KNEW THAT, BUT

I knew that but I am only 3'14' tall and I was figuring that I wouldn't be able to reach the light bulb without a ladder. You said there was nothing else in the room, soooooooooooo

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
