Listen all you Backgammon Players,
DreamCastr (Laura) & Spider (Jan) are taking Backgammon to the high Seas
Come join us on a One (1) Week Cruise at an affordable price.
Jan 23rd-30th/2005
Cabin prices start at 785.00 (pp/dbl occ.) which includes all your meals and shipboard entertainment. Or you can upgrade to a Stateroom for 1115.00 (pp/dbl occ.)
There are will be a Backgammon Tournaments also all week long. How much better can you get it.
Divisional Entry Fees:
Open Flight: $60.00, Reentries are $30.00 90% return
Limited Flight: $30.00, Reentries are $15.00, 90% return
Caribbean Jackpot: $300.00 90% return
$500.00 Captains Tourney: Free to First 64 guests booked.
Main Tournament Format:
Open and Limited flight 4 player knockouts will be held throughout the week on board the Star Princess and perhaps at one or more of the ports. 5 pt Matches. Each knockout winner receives a portion of the prize pool and qualifies for the Friday playoffs. Remaining prize money in each division will be divided thusly: Winner 70%, Runner up 30%.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
