Thats Right a T.O.C. will be held monthly.. Names will be posted here in forum..... tournies will be held 1st sunday of each,month all winners from prior month will be eligable to enter.... Myself and GC hope that you all come out and support these tournies and be able to say your the tourney player of the month also after we have had 12 T.O.C's there will be a yearly tounament that only T.O.C. winners will be eligable to play in to name the GameColony Backgammon Tournament Player of the Year..

ok the date and time are set it will be at 2pm aug 8th list os eligable players will be posted by midnight sunday the 1st of aug cya there tourney winners

Hi Major well it is about time we get a great tourny on top of all the rest , the best idea you have come up with hon. well lets hope this tourny will give all the $$ players an urge to play more in the tournys as not only they will make all the tournys full & great & also they will have a chance to get up the laddar & try to win so they will be here .. good one hon Woooo Hooooo see u Babe 2004

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
