Would it be possible to introduce a system whereby mini-tourneys CAN be watched??? I realise that where money games are concerned, the players dont want to be distracted by chat and interference,so would it be possible to mute chat by watchers???? AS a $$$$ player myself i wouldnt mind other players watching my games .(providing all communication is barred). It would certainly help the less experienced players to watch how the big boys (and girls) play!! I ask mainly because i need to improve my own game!! How do other players feel about this suggestion????????

Even if we mute a watcher of a ticket game, we cannot guarantee that he or she is not communicating with one of the players by phone, ICQ, etc. In other words the chance for collusion cannot be eliminated. Ticket game have to stay watchless to ensure the fairness of the game

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
