They were going great with from 3-8 plaers each time as it was getting established. After no tounraments for ages the tuesday and thursday tourneys were getting people awared and triggered some regular players. As soon as they were stopped, we lsot king_davidix --he has been off for 50 days now and others like me stopped making plans to get there. The set times maybe the problem and not conflicting with the other major tourneys. I would like to see you get back to the tuesday and thursday tournaments and even the occasional players can look forward to them. The 6pm est time on those two days can trigger 4-8 players until word gets around. The one day S/E and the other day D/E was also great and gave variety at 4or5 tix per tourney. I would hope to attend one of them each week if possible.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
