As you may have noticed there have been more canasta tourneys lately, ty all for the support!!!!! what i would like to know is what settings you would like for tourneys??? for example points to play 2, and if they should be 3f, 3f/w, just w, or basic rules, let me know what you think and dont be afraid to request a tourney =)

I prefer 5000 games(which gives me an opportunity to catch-up when I make a stupid mistake!) ALL tourneys are FUN but D/E's also allow the first round losers another chance. Lots more 'bang for the buck', so to speak. 3f is a new option for me and I love it; but, I never get enough wild cards to even consider making a canasta of them. 2-2-2 is basic enough but I think 2-0-2 is more challenging. Just my 2 cents worth. Thanks for the energy & effort you and all the other TD'S put into arranging tourneys for us.

Game is fun and still learning. Tournaments in future might be nice for 3 tix 3000 D/E so players not used to tournaments get to play more when they first try.

Ilike the regular rules but I would play more if they started between 5:30 - 7:30.Alot of people find it hard to stay up for late tourneys because of work.

I like your 7 pm and 10pm time slots for sure and have made many of them. to avoid conflicts with other tourneys I suggest 7 pm S/E and 10 D/E possibly. S/E should be either 4000 or 5000 pts for 2-3 tix with either 2-2-2 or 2-2-2 sf maybe alternating for variety. The D/E should be shorter and maybe 3000 or 3500 2-2-2 for 3-4 tix. ty

yes i think the 7 and 10 pm tourneys are working nice, and would like to thank all the people who support and play in them, and i wish i could host some earlier ones like 5 pm or earlier, but 7 is the earliest i can host because i get home from work just in time to host the 7, i mean just in time no shower or nothing lol, ill ask about getting someone to help with some earlier ones though thanks for the requests though all are welcome and helpful

Play canasta tournaments online
At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
