If this problem persists for you, for further diagnostics, a problem like is to be reported via Contact Us.
There were no network or other issues detected in the direct vicinity of GameColony servers & games proceeded normally.
-check your free disk space - for your Windows XP you need to have at least 30 MB of free disk space on drive C:
Also, go through Java diagnostics HERE
You can check yor connection : INTERNET CONNECTION For a connection test: 1) Click 'Start', 'Programs', 'Accessories', 'MS DOS Prompt'. 2) At C:\Windows>, type tracert 64.95.65.130 & then press enter. 3) Any number that exceeds 200 along your connecting route is a poor connection. Consider upgrading to DSL or cable to optimize your connection.
The above connection tests do not show 'lost packets' - a frequent cause of network errors and delays. The best connectivity test can be achieved with a shareware product VisualRoute available from VisualWare.com

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
