Nowadays, when you are trying to create a new table,it happens very often that you will get this message 'the server is full' i guess that this would mean something like there is not enough space (memory) on the server to hold more than a certain number of players. I think it would be a great thing if we had more space on the server so that you could have something like 300 players on the main hall. gamecolony is pretty popular,so it means that many chess players comes into gamecolony to play games but if you really get that same message, you are forced to stay on idle for a few minutes. Being force to stay on idle is not really funny,it's true that you could join other table and try to watch other players playing. But sometimes, you really want to have a table open and to invite other to players. When you really can't create a table, the next thing you might do is live and try to return later by hoping that there will be some space on the server so that you can create a table. I really think that it would be a great thing if we had more space on the server so that more players could come to play simultaneously.
Server is never really full...

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
