WE HAVE A NEW PLAYER THAT WILL ONLY PLAY IN THE BLACK AND NO TIX OR LADDER GAMES
THE NEW PLAYER IS LINDA((((MY DAUGHTER))))
I CALLED HER TO MY BED AND SAID LINDA WHEN WE FIRST GOT YOU YOU WAS 10 YEARS OLD THERE WAS NO NEED TO CHANGE YOUR LAST NANE
BUT GC GAVE HER A NEW NAME ITS Gr8_JR
she is shy,and bashful like me
only thing linda ever talked about was valley ball at first the school said no she cant play on team ,
but after a few calls to school linda will be on the valley ball team she starts valley ball camp monday
at first linda will only play me she wants to learn all the games
and my RN,LVNS cant tell linda any thing about my health
my goal is to host 2,000+ tourneys. I host with my cowboy hat on it brings me luck
but want to say thank you for every thing you have done for me and told linda that please do not bother a td and admin has my ok to pull her tail feathers

Jer,
I have never visited the backgammon forum before tonight. I read your posting about, among other things, your daughter Linda. I loved the description of her bashfulness and that you liken it to your own personality. I think people tend to judge a book by its cover, or even by the name/handle one adorns for themselves. Shamefully, I think I have maybe misjudged who you are and what you are about. GR8...always assumed an overly confident, standoffish, better than the rest crib player. A crib snob if you will. Well, maybe you are better than most, but I am finding you are not anything that I assumed a person would be with the handle of GR8, (GREAT)I have found recently however, that you seem to be a truly great person. So, it all fits. Sending good thoughts your way, and look forward to many more games with you and Linda.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
