I would like to apologize for not letting yo uabort today. I didn't know the circumstances behind you wanting to abort, and also did not realize I had chat disallowed still. Had you been able (which you probably did try) to explain why you wanted to abort, I would gladly have aborted. I have written to GameColony and asked that the game be annulled. Lucky_lady_2005 explained everything to me, and I am very sorry. Like I told her, I have had a very bad week, and am not thinking very well. A lot of the time, people will ask to abort just because they are losing, and that is what i thought you were doing. I know now that that is not what happened, and also I should have realized this when I thought about who you were. I completely forgot about the game you were kind enough to abort for me so I wouldn't be late for work. I was for some reason under the impression i hadn't played you before, and that this is what you were doing. i truly am very sorry, and will not let this happen again. Lucky_lady, I am pretty sure you will read this too, so please, i really didn't mean to upset anyone, adn I wasn't after her $0.5 That really isn't the way I am..you know me better than that.

That someone is big enough and honest enough to know when they've made a mistake -- and I admire you for your honest apology to AngelLynley. We all make mistakes and way too often forget about how it affects other players. I hope that Angel has accepted your apology, and if I ever get the chance to play you, I'll tell in person (LOL) what a great thing you did by posting your apology in the forum. I think there is a lesson for all to learn here.

Thanks for your comments, I_like_2_win. It's nice to know that someone understands what I was doing. I messed up, I admit it, and I'm sorry. I have not seen or talked to Angel, so I do not know if she has forgiven me, but am hoping I will see her soon.

Thank you very much Val, for posting this for me. It was very nice of you.. I would not have normally worried about it and just resigned, but as i had aborted a game for you when you were running late for work... I just thought you would not mind.....Thanks again...was a misunderstanding..especially if you did not have your chat on..you could not have seen my message that my son was sick and I had to leave the game...Thanks again...Look forward to a rematch soon...Bye

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
