Watch for the tricks

I have played some players recently that will try some tricks when losing. I had one player down and almost out as i was barring off with no contact when he tried to resign 1 pt. I refused so next roll he tried again and i refused again. He then offered a redouble and i was about to refuse when i saw that it was different and a redouble instead of a resign. Wow had I refused that I would have lost the match and was I upset at that trick and told him/her so. Beware. I should have checked the box of 'do not ask me again this game' or something to that affect. All players take note that some out there are not good sports and will try to trick you so they lose less or maybe even win a game and match they shouldn't. I won't mention names this time but if it happens again from this person you will all know.
Welcome any comments if others had this problem.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
