Good Advice on Forwarding Jokes

Read the last sentence...I always hope to find a message with forwards and seldom do

Sometimes, we wonder why friends keep forwarding jokes to us without writing a word, maybe this could help explain this phenomenon:

When you are very busy, but still want to keep in touch, guess what you do? You forward jokes. When you have nothing to say, but still want to keep contact, you forward jokes. When you have something to say, but don't know what, and don't know how, you forward jokes.

And to let you know that you are still remembered, you are still important, you are still loved, you are still cared for, guess what you get? A forwarded joke.

This is the same thing that the greeting card industry has used for years. When we don't know what to say, what to write we buy a card that someone else wrote and sign our name. We drop that card in the mail and off goes our thoughts for a birthday, wedding, Christmas... you get the idea.

So my friend, next time if you get a joke, don't think that you've been sent just another forwarded joke, but that you've been thought of today and your friend on the other end of your computer wanted to send you a smile.

Now, given this bit of information, when you hit that FORWARD link to send to a family member or friend, do the unthinkable... write a few words in the email so that your friend knows that you don't just have a robot sitting at your computer punching keys and you are actually alive!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
