I would really like to see some more double elimination tournaments. I have suggested this many times to the TDs, and still do not see more than one or 2 a week. I am not complaining, just asking for more double elimination. Please, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I like D/E also. points might have to be dropped to 4000 so it isn't wuite as long but go for it. Stcik around 5 tix for it and should be a good tourney.

I WILL BE TRYING MY BEST TO GET MORE D/E TOURNEYS POSTED FOR EVERYONE. SO IF YOU CAN PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE BEST TIMES AND SETTINGS YOU WOULD LIKE. I LOOK FORWARD TO HELPING YOU ALL TO HAVE A LOT OF FUN IN CANASTA. TY ALL FOR YOUR TIME AND HAVE A NICE NIGHT.

yeah 4000 would be good and you could have it at the 1200pm one or early afternoon

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
