Due to circumstances beyond my control I must say adios to all my friends here at GC!! ty Gr8, Okay Lady, TNT, Kelly, Lardy ,Kym,Lil Bear,Marge, Jan , Peg, Super C, Rocky , Pa, Moo and all my cribbage pals!! It is with a heavy heart that I make this decision and wouldn't do so unless it was necessary!
The GC family has been fun and hosting was the greatest fun of all!! thank you all! Lobo

TDW- it has been an honor to play with you and call you my friend. I enjoyed our many discussions about music and just having fun playing cribbage. I know this was a tough decision for you. I wish you all the best and hope to see you again....soon.

i have been very busy with work and gc know this
i will try to host when i can sorry to hear lobo is going, never knew you that well but sorry to see another td going but cribbing for all and happy happy thoughts

My reasons for retiring from the GC family are based on circumstances involving cre for my wife's health! I leave the GC hosting with a heavy heart only because I'm unable to provide GC with the dependability and reliabilty that I personally feel I should provide as part of the the hosting crew! I have never had any problem with GC and have only happy memories about the time I have spent here!!
Sista, not mentioning you by name was only an oversight on my part as there are so many more friends that I neglected to thank like you Sista and Jazz, Blade, Ace, Thepas,Ma, and on and on!! God bless you all and I will try to drop in once in a while for a friendly game of cribbage or Backgammon!!

Lobo!!!! (sob) I am gonna miss you so much hon - things won't be the same without you. You have been a great friend, and a wonderful TD hon. I understand about changing circumstances - with Roman here now I don't have nearly the time I was able to dedicate to GC as I used to, and that saddens me too........but I am truly going to miss you hon. I hope you'll visit and stay in touch - keep me on your messenger and chat from time to time, ok?

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
