What a successful marathon we had yesterday, July 23. We had 10 completed tourneys and only 1 cancel. We gave away a grand total of 72.5 tix to the 1st and 2nd place winners.... A very special thank you to each and every player for supporting this marathon.
Thank you to Sam85, LuckyTeddy, Biggs and Flower for assisting me with this marathon.
Special thank you and congratulations, to JudyforFun......she played in every tournament.

What a WONDERFUL day.....A great big THANK YOU to ALL the TD's who made it possible for so many of us to play & have FUN. It took lotsa work & dedication to arrange it. I, for one, hope this type of marathon is repeated monthly. There certainly seems to be adequate interest. If you agree, then please post your comments to let our hard working Td's know that their efforts are so greatly appreciated.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
