Hi Y'all I have appt for operation of mass on August 26---was going to be on 19th but the Surgeon wanted this other specialist in cancer to assist---Please keep me in your prayers and in the mean time I am going to continue trying to get a 29 hand LOL---been playing 50 years and never had one LOL but I took time out for about 20 years in the Navy LOL I was drinking too much then--- LOL-- Frank M aka rmcusnret

on your upcoming surgery. I hope it goes well for you. I have been cribbing for about 45 years, never a perfect hand, until SUNDAY playing at the kitchen table. I am very excited to say the least. I hope you get one yourself. Pete

Frank, with all of the prayers from your family and friends, I know that everything will be all right. All of those good wishes will also help you to heal fast so that you can get back to playing cribbage and maybe, just maybe getting that 29 hand. Take care my friend.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
