Attention to all:
Per pearle6 (TD) suggestion, we have created an account called KATRINA_RELIEF. GC has deposited $100 in the account. We will use this account to collect donations for Katrina relief fund. All money accumulated in this account will be send to Red Cross in October, 2005. There will also be special KATRINA_RELIEF benefit tourneys in several games with all proceeeds to go to KATRINA_RELIEF.
If you are going to contribute to KATRINA_RELIEF outside of a tourney, you can do so via Contact Us, after logging in as yourself and requesting the specific amount to be transferred to KATRINA_RELIEF account.
1. Whether it is 1 Ticket or 100 Tickets, your donation will be private & every $ will help.
2. There is NO FEE for transferring tickets from one account to another.
3. Contributions can be made for this special account for the entire month of September.
4. Every $ counts. One dollar will diaper a baby or buy milk for a whole day
Thanks to all for any help you can give both personal contributions and in promotion.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
