The 70 tourney cancelled tonight ... it would have been a go but one withdrew and another never showed up after signing in.
I would like suggestions for what you would like. Have one wanting block for 5 tickets and another saying 3 tickets is too many, so how about more input.

# tix is good for getting newer players in. Seems like the hotshots don't want to play whatever the amount so I would target newer players at 3 tix each 150 pts 5 pt with spinner for S/E or 125 pts for D/E. Also you picked weekends and many take friday and saturday off. Whatever time u choose I will try to make some of them as long as they don't conflict with backgammon or canasta. Some who wanted tourneys saw none and haven't been on as much. Hopefully tourneys will be posted in advance and try it for a few weeks (even every second day but posted in advance like in gin and crib helps) or set days like monday and wednesday at ____ time. Hope this helps. There are players but we just have to get them the same time.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
