I FEEL IF TICKETS ARE INVOLVED IN GAME AND ITS CLOSE OR JUST GOT STARTED AND PLAYER DUE TO TECHNICAL ERROR LEAVES TABLE AND TIMES OUT, WE SHOULD ABORT OR AT LEAST USE COMMON SENSE AND FAIR PLAY, I'VE ALWAYS ABORTED GAME OR WAITED, DON'T GET ME WRONG IF IM AHEAD 87-43 ILL TAKE WIN BUT IF ITS 24-36 ONLY THIRD HAND, NOT GOING TO BE GREEDY AND TAKE WIN, I LOVE PLAYING CRIBBAGE ADDING THE TICKETS JUST MAKE IT MORE INTERESTING AND CHALLENGING AND DUE TO THE CHALLENGE I REFUSE TO STEAL A WIN DUE TO SOMEONES MISFORTUNE, SO TO PROTECT MYSELF AND OTHERS WHEN I SET TABLE IN MINI TOURNEY IT WILL BE FOR 10 MINUTES THEN I CAN DECIDE WHETHER TO TAKE WIN ,ABORT OR WAIT. I WILL WELCOME ANY FEEDBACK HERE ON THIS, WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM OTHER CRIBBERS ON HERE, NOT TRYING TO CAUSE A PROBLEM HERE JUST INTERESTING IN FAIR PLAY. THANK YOU FOR READING AND PLEASE ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE WELCOME TY CENSOR

I agree with Censor! I too have played a couple of people who after the 2nd hand they are losing by 20, then they just up and quit!
At least twice, I have had to leave a TIX game, every time I have resigned; once I even had the lead and superior board position. Giving up a couple of TIX is better than getting a reputation as a'quitter'.

Moojus, I think you have missed the point of censor thread. It is not people who quit, it the ones who loose connection. My own opinion, if there are no tx's involved, I always take the win, helps boost my ranking If Tx involved, regardless of score I will always abort, even if I need 1 and my opponent wants 100. I normally play crib with only 5 cards and you can score 56 points with hand, pegging and crib. Bearing in mind you put 2 cards in the crib, only holding 3, I let you try and work out how

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
