In the main room other up comming games are announced. I have missed many crib games because they are not posted when I go in to the main hall to play. WHY can't crib games be posted also????? After all you TD's want the most players you can get ... lol

As this was the second report about the same exact issue that we have previosly delayed... we have decided that it was time to take action.
In other words, crib room now announces upcoming crib tourneys along with other tourneys.

I think I understand what you are trying to say Nobs...You are asking why are the crib tourneys announced in the rooms and game rooms at the same time, the other tourneys, such as gin or bg or pool, etc are announced..
The answer is like this..... TD's are supposed to be in our appropriate main halls 30 min before tourney time to advertise for our tourneys. (that was your answer, NOBS) That is why, if you just sit there and watch, you will see that there will be many ads sent by the upcoming tourney host(ess) in the 30 mins prior to that upcoming tourney. But I have found one problem with this....for myself, I do not read what is going on in main chat because I am concentrating on my game I am playing and what my opponent might be saying to me....it's difficult for me to do those two things at the same time, much less pay attention to the main chat.
And I came up with my OWN solution.....I send private ads to each prospective tourney player that are in main,.5 or 6 or 7 mins prior to leaving for the tourney room. And I send only once...if you prefer that I do not send to you, let me know.....
And I have another solution for players that might need reminding, for one reason or another...... Go to the tourney page and find my name on any tourney I have hosted or upcoming tourney.....click on my name and send me a short message that you would like reminders or announcements of tourneys or both and I will add you to my messenger, so that I can 'ring' you before tourney.....my only request would be to let me know which one you would like, upcoming or reminder only...(and if this might, become too time consuming or overwhelming, I would let you know and solution to that)

The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
