Hi All, I want to ask peoples' opinions on the subject of publically de-meaning another player because of their lack of skills to the game; What gives a person reason or authority to judge another?. We all have good days & some days just goes awry. Its a game, its suppose to be fun but its no longer fun when you are being humiliated, one on one or in the Main Hall. Please space a thought for your opinion, you'll gain better respect! Positive equals positive

There are a few players who really take the fun out of it. Although, I wouldn't say 'humiliation' because they can't get to me the way they think they can. What bothers me are the ones who, after you've repeatedly beaten them, say 'I gave you those games'. They think they're unbeatable and, if they lose, it's only because of something they did....right?
It's only a game everyone. Don't get so full of yourself and your record/rating until you've beaten people in real pool, without little white lines telling you if your shot is lined up. Or try putting too much english on a real cue ball & popping it off the table.
Chill out, have fun, and lose with as much dignity as you win

tell gamecolony of the players who either bad talk you or 'humiliate' you. GC could if bad enough mute that player so they could never do that to another person. just something to think about i know how you feel. been in that postition before.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
