15 players came to debut the lastest version of cribbage today....the reviews are in: some like and some don't (lol). It does seem to go faster though.
Thanks to all who tried this tourney and sorry those of you who didn't get a chance, (will plan another one soon.)

I participated in the tourney on 18th hosted by Lady, 30 pm I think, and must say it was enjoyable, but then again I came runner up The game, I know is quicker, and there are obvious different tactics that can be used to secure points, but overall an enjoyable tourney, well done to whoever wanted the 5 card game and well done Lady for great organisation.

I must admit that Lady your a great TD. You go out of your way for all of the cribbers to enjoy the many different ways to play cribbage. Yes I've tried them all; but I'm not one of the ones who would put my vote in for 5 card cribbage. I find it Quite confusing. Well as they say, to each his own. For those who like it, enjoy, I'll stick to the 6. Anyway remember keep on Cribbin my fellow Cribbers!!!!!!!!! PEACE!

Thank you to the staff of Game Colony for making UK style 5 card cribbage available to us. I live in the USA and have never played 5 card crib prior to your making it available. I very much enjoy trying to figure out the tactics! This game really differs from the six card version!

We are committed to improvements in cribbage and across all of our games. We plan to introduce more cribbage enhancements very shortly. One of these enhancements will be an extra game option (not a new version per se) -- suggested by ... Moojus. Stay tuned!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
