Could canasta players get back to me and let me know when the best times for tourneys are and what settings you like best. thanks.

JulieJay is on target and has set a precedence for some canasta tourneys.she has 8am 10am and 10 pm i think and those are great and if she can't make it maybe another TD can.Popular settings include 4000 2-2-2 or 4000 2-2-2-3f. They are long enough and not too long. S/E and usually for 3 tix most will play. SHe also has some at 2 tix and some at 4 tix so whatever draws the crowds. Hope that helps and thx for hosting.

Could we get some tnys to end the month? I am sure plenty would play in them. There were a bunch but they are all gone now.

SORRY ABOUT THE TOURNEYS, MY SON HURT HIMSELF SKATEBOARDING IN THE HOUSE LAST NIGHT.. I WAS AT THE ER FOR MOST THE NIGHT SO I REMOVED THE TOURNEYS I MADE. SORRY IF YOU WERE INCONVENEINCED....TY JULIEJAY

Play canasta tournaments online

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
