You wanna know why? You are a very KIND person! It's hard to be rude to someone that is always PLEASANT, like yourself! If the world had more ppl like you, then there would be fewer RTUDE ppl!

You Go Girl, hope to play you soon!

I just played 5 games with the nicest guy....actually he lived in the same small MO town I did. Was really nice (except for beating 3 of 5)So we run into rude players and then nice ones.

Thank you so much for the compliment dragon_sky!! It is so rewarding to see that kindness does still get appreciated in this world. You played me under the name of "oyofmidworld". I also use this one, as i hope to be able to register for buying tickets and joining this great community. As a free player, i have to give a shout to the powers that be for making the GC a fun place to play and meet new people. I run into rude players too, (everywhere in GC), i just ignore them after i find one. That do not disturb button was a great idea!!!

We will be looking forward to you becoming a 'blue' tix player soon.....you will love playing for tix and joining tourneys......good luck to you.........

Being kind and pleasant will hopefully rub off to at least one player, and maybe become habit forming.........to all

It is easier to be NICE than . . . .

Every player that has posted replies here PROVES that "IT IS EASIER TO BE NICE THAN RUDE!"

WAY TO GO ALL!

Great Subject!!!! There are some real doozies out there!!! Nothing annoys me more than someone that doesn't reply to "ns, gg, wp" as if they don't have chat and when you leave the table they say "thank you"!!! Thank you for what???? tolerating their rude behaviour????

Aslo, if you lose chat, be polite enough to square away the problem and come back in to thank your opponent. You enjoyed the games; be a good sport and follow through with good sportsmenlike conduct. Means a lot to them and shows people that you really are a "class act"

I like the pool stick idea. Most everyone here reads the forum, right? new members will catch on to that code, either that or they will just think that you fell off your rocker is all. Lol.. I fall off my rocker all the time..

Whether or not,

I love all the players...whether rude or not, but sure makes for better everything to be nice...Kill them with kindness will certainly bring a smile to all.

But remember, not all players like to chat, they are just serious players who want to play and that is it....Certainly, most of us can make better and more friends with idle chat during a game........Has anyone ever been to a LIVE pool hall that the only thing you could hear were pool cue strikes and pool balls clicking together.....I THINK NOT.....so remember, not all chatless people are rude, just their choice.

just an afterthought. I meant the pple who do chat but are rude about it when they do. a simple hello and a serious game would be a blessing sometimes lol. i would rather play a chatless game fairly than deal with rude chat from a sore loser. I understand some in here don't speak english well and that's ok. i'm just upset about the childish rudeness some exhibit when playing, those ppl can stay as quiet as they want.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
