I think the ladder is a good starting point. The best is simply an opinion. Based on this I would say the rating beside your name means almost nothing. Since no one else came we must assume that they felt they don't belong, couldn't make a committment or any other reason, the sole servivor and thus champion if skip_to_my_lou. skip_to_my_lou takes the first title of "Best of the Best" with no challengers to dispute that honour.
